Over the next 12 months Inbloom will create 1000 jobs

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – InBloom Autism Services announced today that they are currently hiring for 100 open positions and will create 1000 new jobs throughout their 8-state service area over the next 12 months.

InBloom Founder and CEO, Kiel Rager, said that despite the impact that COVID-19 has had on communities throughout the country, the organization has done everything they can to stand by their clients and their clinicians during this time.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has left many families in difficult positions dealing with life-changing disruptions to their routines. We know the impact has been great, and a significant number of children living with autism are now going without the critical therapeutic support they need to progress toward their developmental goals,” said Rager. “As an essential healthcare provider, we immediately took the necessary actions to allow us to continue to provide critical services to families in need of ABA therapy during this time, while also keeping everyone as healthy and safe as possible.”

Rager said that because his staff of nearly 500 employees at InBloom have been vigilant with enhanced disinfection protocols, daily health screenings, hand washing requirements, and making cloth face coverings available to staff and clients, InBloom now has an opportunity to help more children living with autism, and to create more jobs for the clinicians who can help them.

“I could not be more proud of the InBloom team and the way they have handled themselves over the past two months. At no time did the idea of stopping services ever enter the discussion. We are a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to ensuring the development and progress of the kiddos who rely on us. That commitment is what makes the InBloom team so special, and because of that commitment we’re very thankful to be able to continue offering career opportunities to amazing clinicians in order to support the families in our communities who need our help now more than ever.”

The majority of the positions InBloom intends to fill are for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), who provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for young children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). InBloom specializes in comprehensive play-based ABA therapy services that focus on the development of social skills, daily living skills, independence, functional communication, expressive and receptive language skills, and academic readiness.

Rager also said that not only does InBloom plan to continue to source and hire best-in-class clinicians, but the organization has also developed a proprietary training program to open up career opportunities for individuals who have the passion and desire to make a difference in the lives of neurodiverse people, but have not yet been given the tools to do so.

The new training program, spearheaded by InBloom’s Director of Training, Alexandria Silkworth, is designed to teach the fundamental and advanced skills needed to be a successful behavior therapist and set the framework to apply those skills with care and integrity.

“By launching the RBT 101 program, we’re connecting passionate people to the knowledge they need to help make a difference in one of the most rewarding ways possible,” said Silkworth. “We’re taking a proactive approach to the development of our therapists, and we’re creating jobs for individuals who have the heart for ABA in the process. Our focus is on clinical integrity and achieving the best outcomes possible. In order to promote that focus, we have to invest heavily in the training and development of our team so they consistently provide the highest level of care to each child we work with, and the RBT 101 training program allows us to do that.”
